Two Property Tax Assessment Appeal Seminars for Wheeling Township

Cook County Board of Review Commissioner Dan Patlak will be holding two property tax assessment appeal seminars for taxpayers seeking to appeal their 2017 property tax assessments. Wheeling Township is open for appeal November 13, 2017, through December 12, 2017.

The seminars are co-hosted by Wheeling Township Assessor Jerry Sadler, Wheeling Village President Patrick Horcher, Arlington Heights Mayor Tom Hayes and State Senator Tom Rooney. The hour long session will educate taxpayers on how to file a successful tax appeal.

The seminar includes a presentation by Commissioner Dan Patlak explaining the appeal procedure at the Board of Review. Before the end of the evening, taxpayers will have an opportunity to work with staff from the Board of Review to address their specific questions and concerns.

This event is free to the public, and there is no fee to appeal at the Board of Review.

Appeal forms also may be picked up at the Board of Review located at 118 N. Clark Street-Room 601 in Chicago or at the Rolling Meadows Office, 2121 Euclid Avenue, Room 237, Rolling Meadows, IL 60098. Taxpayers may also file an appeal online by visiting the Board of Review website: www.cookcountyboardofreview.com.
